MetaJuana Cannabis Society is being rebranded into a “brand Ambassador” for companies in web2, web3 and the real world! deVega, was the first to sign up to utilize the Brand Ambassadors as their online sales vertical. This is the first step into the marriage of real-world assets being coupled with true passive income, residual income or mailbox money.
deVega, LLC is my (real world) business that was built with a client which operated a gold standard company (Hometown Hero) and our affiliation with the esteemed Texas fighting veterans in Texas. We HAVE an SOLUTION to provide thousands of VENDING options to our Veterans giving them OPTIONS to curb their prescriptions medications.
The CBD market is witnessing substantial growth, in both the US and Europe and this craze shows no signs of stopping as the demand keeps growing. It’s estimated that the US CBD market will be worth $13.39 billion by 2024, based on the CBD market data.
Due to the global pandemic, 45% of consumers started purchasing CBD products via online shops, CBD statistics reveal.

deVega with Hometown Heros, Texas Fighting Veterans (TFV’s – for now) and MetaJuana Cannabis Societies community is a powerful group. The long-term vision of vending machines into every Texas location of posts housing our TFV’s into the rest of the nation; coupled with an online store advertising their website and high quality CBD options, makes MCS a fun bet.
There has to be a separation between deVega and MCS. But, the location of our vending machines are far apart and expensive to get a good ROI. However, the online store will be LCD screens attached to each machine and offering education on our products, but also the link and QR codes to order online. For as long as the machines are in a location.
When it comes to where CBD users get their products, a 2019 Consumer Reports study says:
According to a 2019 Consumer Reports CBD survey:
- 40% of people ages 18-29 have tried CBD
- 32% of people ages 30-44 have tried CBD
- 23% of people ages 45-59 have tried CBD
- 15% of people 60 and older have tried CBD
44% of regular CBD users spend $20-$80 per month on CBD products. 13% spend more than $160 per month.
Google searches related to CBD have increased 500% since 2017.
The CBD revolution is here and it is spreading fast.
Attitudes towards CBD have shifted, on a global scale, and this will only pick up speed as studies continue shedding more light on its potentiality.
DeVega is just beginning with Vending CBD, and we look forward to adding more to our installed list in the years to come.
What’s CBD’s legal status worldwide?
It varies very much from country to country. For example, CBD is legal in most European countries, but in some countries, it belongs in the legal grey area. In other words, it’s not allowed but it’s not banned either.
The form of the CBD product also matters, as well as if it’s hemp-derived or not and what percentage of THC it has.
Hemp-derived CBD is legal in all 50 states, facts on CBD legal states in 2022 reveal.
CBD derived from hemp that doesn’t contain more than 0.3% THC is legal on a federal level unless it’s specifically outlawed in certain states. Marijuana-derived CBD is illegal nationwide. That said, some states have legalized the recreational use of cannabis. CBD laws in 2022 can be a bit confusing, so it’s always a good idea to check state legislation before buying any CBD products.
According to a 2020 survey, at least one-third of respondents are using or have used cannabidiol products. CBD popularity seems to be growing rapidly. A poll conducted just one year earlier showed a much smaller percentage of users — in 2019, only 14% of Americans said they were using CBD.
These days, we are finally seeing less and less stigma surrounding the use of marijuana. Interestingly, today’s CBD consumers are around 40. What’s more, most of the users tend to have a higher education degree. They are also more likely to have a full-time job than people who don’t consume CBD.
Not surprisingly, CBD consumption is more prevalent among 18- to 29-year-olds. According to CBD market analysis from 2019, 20% of adults under 30 say they use CBD.
Nearly one in five Americans over the age of 50 have used at least one CBD product. Although not approved by the FDA, there is tons of anecdotal evidence of the efficacy of this natural remedy. It is safe to assume that it’s one of the reasons behind the increasing number of CBD users among the older age groups.
Based on CBD trends in 2020, women seem to make up over half of all CBD users (59% vs. 40%). This survey also shows that 39% of CBD consumers are married, 44% have at least graduated from college, and 44% earn between $30,000 and $100,000 a year.
Research predicts that the CBD skincare market will go up to $959 million by 2024 or make up 10% of the entire global beauty industry. These numbers should come as no surprise given the rising popularity of CBD-infused cosmetic products.
Perhaps, the items that have been hitting shelves the most are anti-acne creams and revitalizing CBD body lotions.
Texas (TFV’s) has over 72,000 members in 285 Posts statewide and it is through the strength of our membership that we continue to provide the support and
legislative measures that ensure our veterans are recognized and rewarded for their service.
About – TFV’s
As of 2020 the fighting veterans have 1.6 million members and Auxiliary members, forming 6,000 local chapters known as Posts, grouped into 52 Departments covering the 50 states, the Asia-Pacific area, and Europe.
The TFV’s work with affiliate organizations:
MetaJuana’s CBD store is what MCS will provide alongside installed assets based off NFT owenrship and profit share.
As CBD industry trends and statistics demonstrate, products containing cannabidiol are everywhere. People of every age, race, and gender use them. The CBD market is expanding and bringing in considerable revenue. We’re seeing constant innovation in this area, from food and beverages to cosmetics and medicine. As people today are becoming more conscious of healthy lifestyles, the rising CBD trend will only get bigger.
DeVega would love to invite you to discover the fascinating world of CBD with our products or your involvement as an independent dealer.
A growing retail channel, direct selling companies, or network marketing companies use a network of CBD sales representatives for their products instead of the traditional retail distribution chain. According to CBD industry facts, Kannaway was the first company to offer CBD direct sales.
This is the pioneer CBD oil MLM company. Kannaway which has been in existence since 2013, was the first to create, launch and sell its own CBD oils.
The company boasts of premium CBD oils that help with pain relief, anxiety, depression and insomnia.
This is subsidiary of the Heart & Body Naturals (HB Naturals) company. This subsidiary sells cannabis and CBD products. The company has its own greenhouse and farm where it grows its own hemp.
So, when you buy their full spectrum CBD oil, you’re sure of the quality of the hemp used in creating the oils. They produce really great CBD oils for sale. People looking to make some money by joining a CBD oil MLM program will find this particularly rewarding.
The HB Naturals brand is a well-known brand. This makes it easier to sell the products as well as the MLM opportunity.
Another popular CBD oil product maker, HempWorx produces top range CBD oil products. In fact, its products are considered popular among CBD oil users because of the quality.
Because of that, the product is fast growing in popularity. To guarantee the quality of the products, the company routinely sends its products to 3rd party labs for independent testing.
Of course, the third party testing procedure has come under fire lately because of its tendency to be manipulated. That aside, the company boasts of producing the purest CBD oils in the market.
This has earned the brand a lot of trust from customers and buyers who love the products.
Dose of Nature
Positioned as a CBD MLM opportunity, Dose of Nature an ecommerce store that sells different CBD oil products from different brands.
The good thing is they’re a highly innovative, forward thinking company. They use technologies like Liposomes, BioPulse Nano, BioXTrax, and BioPulse HydroPods for ensuring that the CBD products sold on their platforms are top notch.
Founded in 1993, this Seed-to-Seal essential oil company has a vast line-up of oils for different ailments and moods. But recently they launched CBD line in partnership with Nature’s Ultra. While most people join for the quality products and the MLM business opportunity, they do allow customers to purchase as straight retail. More of a try-before you join if you will, but you would end up paying more per container than if you joined. Overall both Young Living and Nature’s Ultra have quality reviews and are backed by scientific research. You can learn more about them here.
One of the more recent and newer MLM firms in the industry, they sell decent CBD oil products extracted from their own homegrown hemp cultivars.
Bocannaco CBD oils are unique in the sense that they have a non-emulsion product delivery system in place. This makes their CBD oils quite potent and excellent.
This CBD MLM organization specializes in the production of full spectrum CBD oil products. Established in 2015, this 4 year old company is located in Dallas, and is run by the duo of Steven and Angie Thompson.
Zilis don’t have their own homegrown or extracted products. But they source from highly reputable wholesale CBD oils suppliers.
These suppliers provide private label CBD oils to individuals who can then apply their own branding and sell at their own price. This makes it incredibly easy for anyone to get into the business and start making some money.
These are MLM’s, shhhhh…
My name is Scott Vanlandingham and I am married, a father of three daughters, grandfather of one grandson (so far) and the guy that founded deVega, LLC alongside, my good friend, and business partner Chris Bentler.
DeVega started out in the legal marijuana business, out of California. Took investment from 10 good friends (and family) and realized it cost a lot more than
$100,000 to start a business in California, much less a legal weed business.
DeVega adapted and moved operations to Oregon, which is far away from Austin, Texas. It took a day to get there and a day to get back, which was costly and logistically non-viable. The market in Oregon is paltry compared to California; and our niche in the marijuana industry were cannabis cigars. 4 1/2 g, water leaf wrapped premium grade manufacturing and product, which was a serious flex and so sexy. Plus, we had a 9 g varietal. Is premium market in a small demographic was not viable.
DeVega’s impetus to change over to CBD came from a 420, weed infused cruise, from a renowned chef, in a yacht going around the San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz and ending under the Golden Gate Bridge on 4/20/2019. We made 150 4 1/2g cannabis cigars (cannagars) to put in the goodie bags. Our handler (far away in Oregon) let them all mold; one week before the cruise. Death knell!
When I say handler I mean a very very impressive man who bought a four-story building and turned it into a grow house and delivers some of the best product in Oregon, which is saying a lot. Our relationships are always built with quality companies. It’s a theme that I will always adhere.
DeVega, like water, moved around the obstacles of costs, ocation logistics and started up a CBD business after the federal farm bill of 2018 was put into effect.
DeVega’s 4 1/2 g and 9 g smokable hemp cannagars sounds stupid now, but really did not make sense then.
However, smoking CBD is one of the best ways of getting the benefits of the cannabinoids. So we concentrated on joints and 2g blunts.
Hometown Hero was at the Texas Department of health‘s open forum speaking, like me and my business partner, trying to resurrect the legality of hemp in Texas. It worked. Plus, after hearing us talk about what we did in the “industry”, hemp cigars, he (CEO of Hometown Hero) got his interest enough to do business with us. Four months later and after many, many sales calls; we were able to gain them as a client.
Hometown Hero was already selling .75 g joints made from legal hemp. They are a very smart company and figured out a way to get them for $.50 apiece. Their CEO, Lukas Gilkey, said if we could figure out how to do it for that price he would order 10,000 joints, from us, but also our 2gram blunts. We (deVega) figured it out.
We had to streamline standard operating procedures, engineer and build machines , buy automated machines and hire finishing packers. We had to package them. Mail them. We figured it out and we’re able to make money in the business for over four years now.
DeVega now has a foothold in the CBD industry with a fundamental base- relationship with Hometown Heros. However, we were not making any headway with other distributors, because we did not like most everyone else’s business practices. It kept deVega, stymied for growth.
DeVega decides adding a retail, or sales vertical was the logical next step. We did what we do best and got to work on how we can make it happen. Stores are expensive and require personal guarantees. There was a CBD store on every corner. Quite literally in many sections in Austin. So, like water, we chose to buy vending machines and retrofit them to take products from Hometown Heros. It was not
easy. Liquor laws scare bar owners. They don’t wanna lose their liquor licenses. Obviously.
So, we ended up pulling them out of the pool halls, bars and adult entertainment locations. And being flexible, found new homes within the Texas VFW‘s! I’m going to do a whole section on these wonderful folks later, but it wasn’t just a solution to sell products. It ended up changing my philosophy and gave me a clear idea of where we could actually go.
Especially, after hearing multiple, very personal stories, from these friends/vets (as well as their spouses) about how they are able to get rid of prescription medication‘s. This made me realize we were on to something special.
These are military combat veterans. These clubs are numbered in the thousands across the United States. Hundreds in Texas alone. There is a process to even present business opportunities to this organization. There are meetings.
Presentations. More meetings. Approvals. More meetings.
We have over a years worth of sales numbers, within this organization. We have half a dozen installed and another dozen approved for delivery, but there’s 306 in Texas alone.
We already illuminated the potentiality of Texas installs, but there are over 6000 across the country. Not to mention their sister affiliation groups and other organizations affiliated. We share our profits with the VFW as a charitable donation!
With Metajuana Cannabis Society helping deVega by growing the machine count, we will also be able to offer independent dealer networks, vending machine opportunities and CBD delivery in the ensuing phases. This is not to say we expect anybody to be selling these products, but if you’re able to point whomever is
interested in buying quality products, why wouldn’t you tell them about our brand?
Each of these locations will have a vending machine with deVega, and Hometown Hero products prominently displayed for veterans and their friends and family via the vending machines. However, we will also have an LCD screen with a product commercial and link to our online store via Metajuana!
Home delivery is a huge opportunity! Buying bulk end distributing to friends and family is a huge opportunity! A solo investment in a vending machine, a group investment in a vending machine, or multiple vending machines is a huge opportunity! all the while the MCS community shares in the revenues. Donate a portion to the VFW. And continues to add marketing and installations for a sustainable but accountable growth curve.
Right now, free minting is a given for the original holders of MetaJuana. However, likely, there will be another round at almost free minting. Basically half the price of when I took it over at one dollar! Each ensuing block of the same number will be secretly announced for the next level at two dollars. Then for, 8, 16, 32. With each drop doubling the floor price. Thereby increasing investments as we, the MCS community, grows the install base and data points to sustain the investment growth.
Not in a Ponzi. We will be able to offer very low entry points for the early adopters. Each subsequent drop will be built upon subscriber count. This allows us to build a following and another outlet for people to get behind.
Royalties will be set at 50%! They will also decrease by 1% each round while the NFT doubles from previous round, until we stop at 10%. 40 rounds max!
We have another Solana-based NFT considering doing the exact same model within our MCS community. We also have a possible Ethereum-based NFT that is also
considering us. Once others hear about it and see the support and direction we should be able to pick and choose who we want to collaborate with. But, early entry points for all of them are going to be sanctioned for MCS community first.
We’re going to offer raid and whitelist opportunities for those that are interested. Poker contests for those that are interested. Hijinks ways to get the community involved and to give away NFT‘s. We’re going to build a brand, so the value of these could be valuable. And helps those that support us early. Every subsequent round it buys in will end up paying double than the previous, but treated the same. Every MCS holder from day one to present day will get the same share per NFT.
We are one.
SEC is protecting the fine citizens of the United States (and by proxy the rest of our community) so this section will be DYOR. You will have to find numbers and do some math.
As of now there is no clear reason to have a big budget for marketing, or anything else, for that matter. We can justify expenses and build out an MCS (online) store while growing our community. The NFT roll out method may (or may not) be perfect with the secondary sales methodology in place.
Every current holder will be able to mint an NFT for free for each current metajuana NFT they hold in their wallet. You will have until all 10,000 are sold out to mint them for free. We will be releasing the 10,000 in waves. Each wave, the price will increase based on the current status of the store. As you know, the holders of the farmers will receive profits of the online store starting on day one. We will use 100% of the first round of funds to go right back into advertising and promotion and legalities for the online store. This will bring in more business and in turn put more money in our holders pockets.
As the store grows and more profits are coming in, the price of the NFTs will increase to reflect that until sold out. We believe in a prove it first method that will also reward those who believe in us. As we continue to build MCS in the background, we all are aware of the current market conditions. These are being heavily watched by 2 great members of our team. Any updates regarding mint dates/ price are TBA as we carefully watch the market and determine whats best for us as a community.
As we grow we can grow faster with more money and justify it along the way. While controlling floor price and bringing in others.
The Texas (TFV’s)’s are a clear and easy customer base to pursue with locations throughout the state and USA. Man of us are related to these members and know others. These are the sites that will allow our combat veterans a choice for their needs.
“Across America, the initials TFV are a familiar sight and symbolize a commitment to the nation both at home and abroad.” from a website:
Our Mission: To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans.
Our Vision: Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.
We trace our roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service. Many arrived home wounded or sick. There was no medical care or veterans’ pension for them, and they were left to care for themselves.
In their misery, some of these veterans banded together and formed organizations that would eventually band together and become known as the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. After chapters were formed in Ohio, Colorado and Pennsylvania, the movement quickly gained momentum. Today, membership stands at more than 1.5 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary.
Our voice was instrumental in establishing the Veterans Administration, development of the national cemetery system, in the fight for compensation for Vietnam vets exposed to Agent Orange and for veterans diagnosed with Gulf War Syndrome. In 2008, we won a long-fought victory with the passing of a GI Bill for the 21st Century, giving expanded educational benefits to America’s active duty service members, and members of the guard and reserves, fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. We were the driving force behind the Veterans Access and Accountability Act of 2014, and continually fight for improved VA medical centers services for women veterans.
Besides helping fund the creation of the Vietnam, Korean War, World War II and Women in Military Service memorials, in 2005 the VFW became the first veterans’ organization to contribute to building the new Disabled Veterans for Life Memorial, which opened in November 2010. And in 2015, we became the first supporter of the National Desert Storm War Memorial which is planned for construction at our nation’s capital.
Our Core Values:
- Always put the interests of our members first
- Treat donors as partners in our cause
- Promote patriotism
- Honor military service
- Ensure the care of veterans and their families
- Serve our communities
- Promote a positive image of the VFW
- Respect the diversity of veteran opinions
DeVega believes its vending automates the way consumers purchase CBD products much the same way banks integrated ATMs as a system for convenience.
Additionally, the Covid pandemic has created a greater need for no-contact sales and social distancing.
CBD Vending Machine Suppliers (many more) all small with little to no growth besides the convenience.
Grasshopper CBD Kiosks
Grasshopper Kiosks LLC, a provider of automated retail solutions, has introduced a digital shopping kiosk for CBD products that offers management software, provides age and identity verification, integrates with major point-of-sale software and complies with state and local government regulations for the rapidly growing CBD industry.
Greenbox Robotics CBD Vending Machine
The Greenbox Robotics Vending Machine is 6 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and 4 feet deep, offers the space and capacity to sell CBD products in almost any space. Besides being convenient for the operator, the Greenbox vending machine offers everything that a vending operator could want in 21st century vending.
Retail Automated Concepts
We solve the 3 biggest problems retailers have to carry CBD products. Education, theft (both from the consumer and the employees) and age verification. We manufacture freestanding kiosks which are a comprehensive, cashless unattended retail solution for selling items that require local, state or federal regulatory compliance, including the hemp and CBD markets, while providing a safer way to receive payment with lower risk of fraud. Kiosks include connection to an operator’s own network for data reporting, multiple options for age verification, dedicated monitors to stream videos as well as capture customers and generate ad revenue, and customized brand wraps to help individual brands stand out. RFID technology provides vending operators with secure, real-time data and inventory protection. Rewards programs and discount codes are available.
DeVega has six vending machines plus half a dozen more sites, ready for delivery. We have been doing this retail outlet for over a year and have service and quality maximized. We offer a percentage back to the coorporative organization and can add LCD screens to the machines to get online orders and possible IDN’s or vending machine owners. We are ver active in the coorporative organization and Chris is the Liaison and connected to the process at the highest levels.
CBD vending machines can operate 24/7. Moreover, people who want to save their privacy when buying cbd products will likely use cannabis vending machines.
What else are the benefits of vending machines? They are the following:
- Veterans and their friends and families don’t need to look for CBD dispensaries when there are vending machines in their posts.
- The machine takes 1-2 minutes to make a
- No more social contact, because there is no budtender and no queues. The payment process is automated. This is helpful for those who are afraid of falling ill with COVID-19 or want to save
- CBD vending machines are easy to set up and train to
- DevVega’s vending machines can make the payment process easy, fast, and secure. They accept cash, cards, and sometimes crypto, online.
- They also have ID
The above shows the risks of going it alone. We can offer a franchise version of vending machines, Shh.

DeVega bought six machines (used) one year ago and reengineered them to work perfectly. However, we have grown out of this as a workable solution for mass adoption. The below is by far the best and easiest solution for buying new systems. However, the cost is difficult to justify unless done in this manner.

This might be the easiest measuring metric available. All install locations will be on a timeline and tracked with the billing software to run reports and share with NFT holders. Six are installed now and we are going to double it with the addition of MCS. Then we can decide on the next bulk buy of vending machines of 20-50 or maybe 100.
